El maestro que prometió el mar (The teacher who promised the sea) gets awarded in London

Last Wednesday, the film El maestro que prometió el mar was awarded as the best film at the London Spanish Film Festival.

 

This festival projects films made in Spain, and has different sections dedicated especially to Catalan, Basque and Galician cinema. During the event, some of the most featured films of the year were projected: “We were impressed by the range and ambition of all films in this year’s festival”. 

 

The drama El maestro que prometió el mar, produced by Minoria Absoluta, Lastor Media, Filmax and Mestres Films AIE, directed by Patricia Font and starred by Enric Auquer and Laia Costa captivated the jury, who later awarded it as the best film.
