The Centre d’Arts Digitals IDEAL opens its third immersive production, centred on the work of Gustav Klimt. This premiere invites viewers to dive into vibrant, turn-of-the-century Vienna, in first person, and experience the development of the work of Klimt and his world. Large-format immersive projections, with over 1,000 m2 of screens, virtual-reality-headset experiences, exhibition space and interactive tools all go to make up this ambitious cultural encounter, for all ages, and enable the viewer to feel as though they are inside the paintings and buildings Klimt decorated.
From 15 April this immersive Gustav Klimt experience, which leads on from the success of the Monet production that premiered in the IDEAL Digital Arts Centre in October 2019, will be open to the public. This new coproduction has been produced with the Belgian studio Exhibition Hub and will debut simultaneously in Barcelona and Brussels this spring. Tickets on sale: idealbarcelona.com
