On September 21st, the series Gènesi(Genesis) premiered at the San Sebastiàn Festival. At the series presentation, there were the actors Miquel Fernández, Iván Massagué, Joana Vilapuig, Carlos Cuevas, and Ferràn Adrià himself. The same day, TV3 and the 3Cat platform launched the first two episodes, getting great audiences, reaching a 20,1% share and leading by more than 13 points over its competitors.
After the episodes were released, the first critics have been pubished.
The production will also have international distribution through Netflix, which will launch it in Europe, Latin America, and the United States.
Following its premiere, the Barcelona series festival, Serielizados, has programmed a conversation with Ferran Adrià, where they will reflect on the global rise of gastronomic series. The talk will take place on October 26 at 12 hours.
